Using VDI (the Virtual Desktop Environment) with Duo

Starting in June 2020, the VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) will be using Duo.  On June 15th - any existing Duo user will need to verify their login with Duo.  As of July 1st - you will be unable to access the VDI environment unless you are using Duo.  If you are not already a Duo user - you can sign-up at www.newpaltz.edu/duo-signup.

Unfortunately due to how VMWare works - the login experience with Duo is not as user friendly as on other systems.  Here's how the new VDI logins work with Duo.

Installed Client Instructions - use these if you access the VDI via the installed application - and not via your web browser

Web Client Instructions - use these if you use your web browser to access the VDI environment
