Use D2L Lumi Question to generate questions for your Question Library and add these questions into your course's quizzes.
How to Generate Assignment Ideas
You can use Lumi for Assignments to assist in creating a new assignment or to modify and uplift an existing assignment.

You can use D2L Lumi Idea to generate discussion ideas to assist in creating a new discussion topic or to modify and uplift an existing topic.

Question: Can students use D2L Lumi
Answer: No, Lumi is only available for faculty use to generate quiz questions, as well as assignments and discussion prompts.
Question: Do students see which questions or prompts are AI-generated?
Answer: No, instructors will see a small spark icon next to AI-generated content, but this is not visible to students.
Question: What happens to AI-generated content if New Paltz decides not to continue Lumi after the pilot?
Answer: Any content generated during the pilot remains part of the Brightspace course and faculty can continue to use and modify it.
