1. Scan your SUNY New Paltz ID card or select Passcode Login to enter your passcode

2. Once logged in you will be presented with the following options. Choose “Scan Document”:

3. You will be presented with the following options to change the File Type, Quality, and Color vs. Monochrome. Choose Done. The default settings are shown below.

4. Next you will be presented with Scan Destinations – E-mail, OneDrive or SharePoint. Choose your preference.
NOTE: If this is your first time scanning, you will need to Authenticate each individual option via e-mail. This means to use each option, you will first need to physically press the button at the copier. You will then receive an e-mail for each from “Pharos Cloud” requesting to Authorize. Return to your e-mail, choose Authorize and log in with your New Paltz credentials. You will need to do this only one time for all 3 options.


- Scan to Email: Your e-mail address will be automatically entered. You can change the subject or message at your discretion. Choose “Scan Document.”

- Scan to OneDrive: You will be presented with your OneDrive folders as they appear on other devices. Choose a location, or create a New Folder. Choose “Scan Document.

- Scan to SharePoint: Similar to OneDrive, you will be presented with your Sharepoint folders as they appear on other devices. Choose a location, or create a New Folder. Choose “Scan Document.”

5. The device will instruct you on scanning double-sided/multiple documents. Adjust your document on the scanner, and choose to scan again. When finished, simply choose "Done."
