Wireless Network Access

Information Technology Services offers wireless connectivity in offices, academic, and residential spaces.

Features and Benefits:

  • Connect your wireless device(s) to the campus network from most campus locations.
  • Your device saves your user name and password and automatically connects you to the network when you are in range.
  • Your connection is protected behind the campus firewall.

Authorized Users:

  • Students
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Guests

Request Process:

  • All registered students automatically have access.
  • Faculty and Staff who do not have accounts can have their department request access on their behalf

User Responsibility:


Requirements and Prerequisite:

  • You must be a current employee, enrolled student, or authorized guest (see request process, above) and have a valid New Paltz User ID (NPCUID) and password to access the wired network.
  • Game consoles and/or media device must be registered: go to access.newpaltz.edu to register your console or device.

Hours Availability:

  • The wireless network is available all hours.

Customer costs:

  • The wireless network is free to all authorized users.
