Event / Conference Support Request

Request AV support for an event or conference

Request Process:

  • Review the Planning Guide
  • See the Price List
  • Fill out and submit request form
  • Wait for response (within 48 hours)
  • Submission of this form does not constitute a finalized request
  • Student events should be booked in the Student Union Building (SUB)
  • We require at least two weeks notice for conferences and special events

Features and Benefits:

  • Use AV technology in campus spaces for extra curricular events or conferences
  • Have AV professional on hand in case of problems
  • Coordinate event/conference needs with available technology

Authorized Users:

  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Students
  • Faculty Emeritus
  • Members of the community

User Responsibility:

  • Please discuss with your presenters the (rare) possibility of equipment or network failure
  • We will need a current copy of your most recent brochure or schedule to help us plan your support services accordingly
  • Please include us in the very early stages of your conference planning. We can help you choose spaces that meet your needs for AV Technology and capacity
  • If you are using a Mac laptop to display your content, you will need to provide a VGA adapter to avoid recording issues when using Lecture Capture or Mediasite

Requirements and Prerequisite:

  • Please be aware that we have no staff regularly scheduled to work on weekends.  If you are requesting weekend services, please tell us as soon as possible so we can clear our calendars and make arrangements to be here
  • Before recording a guest lecturer, you must get their permission in writing. Please print and sign the Guest Lecturer Release Form
