Request for Closed Captioning and CC Editing

Videos posted to any campus website or to Blackboard, must be closed captioned in order to comply with Federal accessibility standards.  Select the "Request Service" button, located on the right, to request that videos posted to Ensemble (our streaming media server) are auto-captioned and/or submitted to our closed captioning editors for review.

Features and Benefits

  • Auto-captioning uses voice-to-text technology to caption a video within minutes and with 85% accuracy.
  • Auto-captioned videos can be further reviewed through our closed-captioning editing.
  • These combined services assist faculty and staff by decreasing the time and effort needed to manually caption videos.
