Transferring a Call

To transfer a call to another line, follow the steps below:

• While on the line with the caller, press the transfer button  This will put the caller on hold.
• When the phone's screen prompts "enter a number to transfer," dial the number for the line to which you want to transfer the caller.
• When the line rings you can press the transfer button again to connect those two lines; or, you can wait to speak to the individual on the new line to announce the call before transferring. 
• On your phone’s screen you will see a message telling you the call was successfully connected; you can now hang up your line.

Helpful Hint:

• If you follow the instructions above, but dial * before the extension number, the transferred call will go straight to voicemail.
