To transfer a call to another line, follow the steps below:
While on the line with the caller, press the transfer button
This will put the caller on hold.
When the phone's screen prompts "enter a number to transfer," dial the number for the line to which you want to transfer the caller.
When the line rings you can press the transfer button again to connect those two lines; or, you can wait to speak to the individual on the new line to announce the call before transferring.
On your phone’s screen you will see a message telling you the call was successfully connected; you can now hang up your line.
Helpful Hint:
If you follow the instructions above, but dial * before the extension number, the transferred call will go straight to voicemail.
