Linux Accounts

Overview

Linux accounts provide students with access to "Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization" environment (RHEV) desktops for use in courses or personal programming projects.  Linux accounts also provide access to the "Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP" environment (LAMP).

Request Process:

  • Linux Lab logins are automatically set up for Computer Science and Engineering students at the beginning of each semester.
  • All others should submit the following form to request a login [Request Form Needed].

  • Linux accounts and environments are available 24 hours a day.

  • There is no fee for this service.
