VPN - Virtual Private Network

Overview:

Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a secure network connection that allows authorized users to connect to the campus network while off-campus. 

Features and Benefits:

  • VPN provides access to a secured campus network connection while off-campus.
  • Using a VPN connect prevents others from viewing any information you are transmitting. 
  • Logging into the VPN provides access to campus services that are only available on the campus network. 

Authorized Users:

  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Students in certain majors or courses that have a documented need for VPN access

Request Process:

  • Authorized users may download VPN at any time; see support information for download procedures.   

User Responsibility:


Requirements and Prerequisite:

  • The installation process requires your campus username (NPCUID) and password.

Hours of Availability:

  • This service is available at all times.

  • There is no fee for this service.
