Campus Telephones (Repairs)

Overview

SUNY New Paltz uses a Cisco based VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system, along with our legacy phones, for our campus telephone service.  Telecommunications can assist if you are experiencing problems with your phone such as an inability to place or receive calls, or for poor call quality.

 

Authorized Users:

  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • CAS employees
  • Student employees (when needed for their department)

Request Process:

  • Departments who need a new line added, or an existing line changed should click "Request Assistance" on this page.

User Responsibility:


Requirements and Prerequisites:

  • An approved telephone provided by Telecommunications.
  • (add information on the apps that can be used to access the system?)

Hours of Availability:

  • This service is available 24/7.

Customer costs:

  • Repairs to existing lines incur no costs.
