Conference Phone (Request)

Overview

SUNY New Paltz Telecommunications provides conference phones, which are useful for remote conferences.  

 


Features and Benefits:

  • Can provide better microphone and speakers than a normal phone when used for conference rooms.

Authorized Users:

  • Faculty
  • Staff

Request Process:

  • Please make the request at least 24 hours in advance
  • Availability is first come, first served

User Responsibility:

  • Conference phones must be returned to Telecommunications or arrangements must be made for Telecom to pick-up.

Requirements and Prerequisites:

  • Conference room must have an appropriate wired network connection available.

Hours of Availability:

  • Arrangements can be made for conference phone use 24/7
  • Advanced pick-up or drop-off may be necessary for meetings or events occurring during non-business hours.

Customer costs:

  • There is no fee for this service

Support:

  • Use the Request Conf. Phone button on the top right to reserve a phone
  • Report any outages or requests for training to 845-257-HELP (4357)
