In order to request an account on the shell.newpaltz.edu web server, follow the steps below. Note: If you already have an account, you can still follow the steps on this page to set a new password on the system.
Request a new account
- Log into my.newpaltz.edu
- Click on your initials at the top right and choose "Change Password"
- Under Web Space, select Request Shell Account
Change your password
- Log into my.newpaltz.edu
- Click on your initials at the top right and choose "Change Password"
- Under Web Space, select Change Shell Account Password
Note: for all users (faculty, staff, and students) account creation and password changes are done automatically every fifteen minutes. You should get a notice at your campus email account when your account is setup (or when your password is changed).
