Respondus LockDown Browser

Introduction

Respondus LockDown browser is a way to secure a computer or device during a test, so that students cannot navigate to other browsers or applications, or communicate with others during the test.  Watch this brief video for a basic overview of the LockDown Browser.

Download Instructions

When you access a quiz in Brightspace that requires you to use the LockDown Browser, you will be prompted to download or launch the browser. You won't be able to take the quiz unless you are accessing it using the Lockdown Browser. If you can't find a link to download the LockDown Browser from within Brightspace, you can always download our campus's version here.
