Adding Turnitin Draft Coach to Microsoft Word online

The Turnitin Draft Coach add-in may need to be installed first, but this would only need to be completed once.

1. From your campus outlook account, select the dot matrix app menu in the top left hand corner of the screen, then select the Word App.

2. From the menu bar, select Turnitin, then select Draft Coach:

3. In the right hand panel, Authenticate Draft Coach by selecting "Try again" if needed.:

• Once your online Word account has Turnitin Draft Coach, you can apply it to any of your online Word documents to help you work towards the final draft of your assignment.
• Turnitin Draft Coach cannot be added to your desktop versions of Microsoft Word.

To run your Similarity Check:

• Select the Similarity tab at the top of the panel or the Similarity Check card in the middle of the panel.

• You can run up to 3 similarity reports per document paper.

• You will be able to run as many Citation Checks as you like while you draft your assignment.

Workflow Suggestions

• Create a document in Word online, and run Draft Coach.
• Create a document in the Word Desktop app, save locally, upload to one drive, Open in Word Online, and run Draft Coach.
