Context
The Discover tool is now available in Brightspace. This exciting tool provides a space to showcase curated course sites and allows for self-enrollment.
We have two types of offerings within the Discover tool: Course Modality Template Shells and Master Course Examples.
Instructions with Screenshots
In Brightspace, select Discover from the navbar.
From the Discover homepage, search for "NEW" to restrict the results to New Paltz courses. On the results page, select the course in which you want to enroll.
From the Course Details page, click "Enroll in Course" (please note: it may take up to 24 hours for all content in the course to be available).
Text Only Instructions
If you would like to enroll in a course, or to preview a course template available in the Discover tool, follow these steps:
- In Brightspace, select "Discover" from the navbar.
- From the Discover homepage, search for "NEW" to restrict the results to New Paltz courses.
- On the results page, select the course in which you want to enroll.
- From the Course Details page, click Enroll in Course (please note: it may take up to 24 hours for all content in the course to be available).
