This article will teach you how to access alternative formats through the Ally accessibility tool on Brightspace.
Steps to Take
Step 1
Locate a page within your Brightspace course that you want converted to a different format. If you have not yet opened the page, you will see the Alternative Formats icon to the right of the page title (the Ally icon resembles a capital "A" next to a down arrow, as shown in the screenshot below). If the page is already open, you will see a button labeled Alternative Formats towards the bottom of the page.
Step 2
Select the Alternative Formats icon or the Alternative Formats button.
Step 3
From the next menu that opens, select your desired format option and then select the Download button.
Step 4
It may take a few minutes for the alternative format to download, especially for larger files.

Important Note: Alternative formats are system-generated and may not be 100% accurate. Be sure to ask your instructor for clarification if you believe parts of the content contain inconsistencies.
