From your desktop, double-click on the icon for the VMware Horizon View Client. If you didn't download the desktop icon, open the client from the start menu.
On the next screen, double-click on the icon that says 'vdi.newpaltz.edu'.
Enter your New Paltz username and password; then, select 'Login'.
On the next screen, double-click the desktop you would like to use.
When the desktop loads, you are in the virtual environment and you can navigate as you would any lab computer.
Important
: when you are working in the virtual environment ALL work MUST be saved to a USB drive or uploaded to a cloud service like OneDrive or Google Drive.
Any work not saved to an external drive or cloud service will be lost when you disconnect and log off.
Important
: When your virtual session is complete, you MUST open the options menu and choose 'Disconnect and Log Off'.
