Overview

The Office of Communication and Marketing provides professional photography that develops and enhances the college’s marketing materials, press announcements, printed magazine and much more.  The campus photographer shoots and processes high level imagery for marketing materials that are aligned with strategic initiatives on campus. All photography requests are reviewed and support will be provided based on a number of factors including:

  • Alignment with strategic plan initiatives.
  • Imagery needed for a OCM design project.
  • Event coverage for press releases and notable campus wide events.
  • Professional portraits for use on the website directory, publications, advertising, and digital profiles.

Features and Benefits:

  • Photography is an important medium to enhance the College’s identity, mission, vision and Strategic Plan.
  • While it is exceptionally time and resource intensive, our image achieve is growing larger each year and is available to help market individual departments on campus.
  • The digital images can be shared across many platforms, including websites, social media, and digital signage.
  • The office also employs several student photographers who cover additional events throughout the year.
  • Digital prints may be ordered from our online achieve.

Request Process:

  1. Photography requests must be submitted at a minimum of 10 business days before principle shooting will begin. This is critical to allow for time for scheduling, ordering of equipment, and planning.
  2. If a requests denied, we may offer the option to borrow a digital camera for you to cover your event.

User Responsibility:

  • Requestor or their designee will need to be detailed with the photo request to assure the proper images are taken for the desired outcome.

Hours of Availability:

  • Variable.

Customer costs:

  • Generally no costs are incurred by requesting photography services.
  • You may purchase prints after the final images are uploaded to the online achieve.
