Design Services
The Design Services staff collaborates with members of the campus community on a wide variety of projects in order to ensure that the College’s communications in print and digital formats are contextually appropriate, aesthetically attractive and creatively stimulating. They are guided by a keen understanding that the look and feel of a piece must be in harmony with the message it conveys. Whether working on a poster to advertise a student performance, developing recruitment brochures for circulation among prospective students and parents or crafting an advertisement for use in regional newspapers or on social media, the team meets design challenges with outside-the-box thinking, while maintaining and adhering to the College’s visual identity.
Print Services
Operating a full suite of state-of-the-art copiers, presses and bindery equipment, the experienced Print Services staff produces materials for all occasions, from high-count orders of thousands of postcards for distribution to future New Paltz students, to towering individual pull-up banners. The Print Services work order process has been streamlined to require just a single pdf form, and staff are readily available, knowledgeable and motivated to assist students, faculty and staff in determining the ideal specifications for a given job.
Mail Services
Mail Services is one of the most consistently active spaces on the SUNY New Paltz campus; the hub for all sorting and delivery of administrative and student mail, including the thousands of textbook shipments and family care packages that fuel the student population each semester. In addition to managing all the College’s many incoming deliveries, the Mail Services staff works with a number of carriers to process individual and bulk outgoing parcels, providing the campus community with expert guidance on address formatting, shipping options and rates to ensure effective and efficient correspondence with our many audiences.
