To log in to your Brightspace account, follow these steps:
1. Go to newpaltz.edu/brightspace.
2. You will be brought to the SUNY New Paltz authentication page; enter your username:
3. Enter your New Paltz password:
4. You will now be prompted for MFA (Multifactor Authentication) via Microsoft, depending on which system you are on. If you would like your device to remember your login, check the box next to the text that says ""Don't ask again for 30 days". Then, select the "Send Me a Push" button.
5. Approve the login (via Microsoft Authenticator).
6. On the next screen, indicate if you'd like to stay signed in (only chose this option for a personal device).
7. Your login is now complete and you should see the Brightspace landing page (please note: the image below may not look exactly like your screen).
