Question: What happens to AI-generated content if New Paltz decides not to continue LUMI after the pilot?
Answer: Any content generated during the pilot remains part of the Brightspace course, and faculty can continue to use and modify it.
Question: If we retain LUMI beyond the pilot period, how will it be priced?
Answer: LUMI is priced by looking at a school's FTE and then assigning a certain number of "generations" (this number varies by tier) per FTE. All faculty would pull from a shared pool of generations with the expectation that some faculty will use it frequently, while others will use it infrequently or not at all. During the pilot, we will gauge the level of use and to to gauge expected future use so that if we purchase the product, we buy the appropriate tier of generations.
