Please Note
: only proceed if you have already installed the VMware Horizon View Client following the steps in the article:
"How do I install an iOS VDI Client?"
2. From your home screen, tap on the icon for the
VMware Horizon View Client
.
3. On the next screen, make sure you are on the
Servers
tab and, then, tap the
vdi.newpaltz.edu
icon.
4. Enter your
New Paltz username
and password; then, tap
Login
.
5. You can now proceed into the virtual environment by selecting a desktop.
6. When the desktop loads, you can navigate the system as you would any lab computer.
7.
Important
: When you are working in the virtual environment ALL work MUST be saved to a USB drive or to cloud storage;
any work not saved to an external source will be lost when you shut down.
8.
Important
: When your virtual session is complete, you MUST go to the 'Start' menu and select 'Shut Down' to end your session.
