If you have forgotten your New Paltz username or password you can use our self-service password reset tool by going to my.newpaltz.edu and clicking on the “Forgot Username/Password” link.

The self-service tool will only work if:

  • We have a valid, external email address (i.e. a non-“newpaltz.edu” email address) on file for you.
  • You have already set up a “security question” so your identity can be verified.

If either or both of the above criteria are not met and you are unable to use the self-service tool, you can still find your username or reset your password by choosing one of the following options:

  • All Users - Contact the IT Service Desk - servicedesk@newpaltz.edu , (845) 257-4357 or Humanities 103.
  • Application PINS -  Contact  Undergraduate Admission - admissions@newpaltz.edu or (845) 257-3200
                                                Graduate Admissions - gradschool@newpaltz.edu or (845)-257-3947
