Adding a Conference Room Calendar - Office 365

Please note the different instructions depending on your chosen access portal.

• ·Outlook Web Access via Office 365 on the using an web browser

• ·Outlook Desktop Version

Outlook Web Access

• Open and Log into Outlook 365 using your web client. 
• Select the Calendar icon. (on the bottom left) 
• Click Import Calendar (at the top of your list of calendars, but below the mini-calendar on the left)
• Choose From Directory. ( lower left of new window )
• Type the building name you are searching for the calendar in (for example "Lecture Center").  A list of calendars matching that building will come up (if any are associated with that building).
• Click on the appropriate room calendar. 
• Click Add
• You can select or unselect the calendar to see its activity by clicking on the room name. 
  • If you have 'Manager' calendar rights you will be able to add/modify events just like your personal calendar.

Outlook 2016 (Desktop Version - Windows)

• Open Outlook
• Select Calendar tab (lower right)
• Right Click on My Calendars and Select 'New Calendar Group' (above calendar tab)
• Type in 'Rooms' (if you already have this group you can ignore this step)
• Right Click on Rooms calendar group then highlight ‘Add Calendars’ then select ‘From Rooms List’
• A list of Rooms will be populated.
• Highlight appropriate room and press ‘Rooms->’ button.
• Once you have added all the room calendars you would like select ‘OK’ button.
• The room calendar will be added to the room calendar group. 
• You can select or unselect the calendar to see its activity by clicking on the room name. 
  • If you have 'Manager' calendar rights you will be able to add/modify events just like your personal calendar.
