Email Quota (current and maximum values)

Office 365 provides 100GB (GigaBytes) of storage for each email account.  This is a massive amount of storage for email which few will run out of, but it isn't limitless.  Below is how you can see your current storage usage on your email account if you are one of the few who hit this limit.  As of Fall 2022 - there are only about 9 or nine people even at the halfway mark, but it won't last forever.

A few notes before the actual instructions:

  • The instructions below are for the web version of Office 365.  If you use the desktop version that is part of Microsoft Office, you can still log into the web version to get this information via the instructions below.

 

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right then click View all Outlook settings at the bottom.

  2. On the far left column - choose General
  3. On the middle column - choose Storage
  4. You will see your current and maximum storage usage on the right.
