Accessing Your Hawkmail Account

Note: As of June 2021 - Office 365, not Hawkmail, is the official college email system for all students (as it already has been for faculty and staff).  This article is kept for legacy purposes - or for those who still have Hawkmail.

Your Hawkmail account is a Gmail account, so if you already have a Gmail account you will need to add your Hawkmail to your Gmail sign in page.

  1. Go to Gmail and sign out of your personal account.
  2. At the login window select "Add account" at the bottom.
  3. Enter your Hawkmail address [username@hawkmail.newpaltz.edu]
  4. Enter your newpaltz user password and sign in.

Next time you can select which email account you want to log into.
