General

Computer Labs

  • A list of all the computer labs in SUNY New Paltz can be found in our Labs List
  • Public Labs are computer labs that are not normally scheduled for classes and provide access to general software.
  • Department Labs are computer labs that are schedulable for classes and provide access to general software as well as discipline specific software.
  • Some labs have printers that can be used through the lab computers. Head to our Lab Printing Tutorial and Printing FAQs to learn more. 
  • You can request an account to access our Linux-based Workstations, servers and other services.

Remote Learning

  • Brightspace Quickstart for Students (This orientation is a deep link to a Brightspace Course. You must be logged into Brightspace before clicking this link). Here, you can find a general overview on a number of useful instructional technology tools for you to use in your learning experience. 

On-Campus Students

Loaner Equipment

  • STL Library has short-term iPad and Laptop loaners (up to 7-days) for students.
  • IT Service Desk has Laptop loaners with all necessary applications installed for students

Auditors

  • Auditors have access to limited services.
